A robot is a reusable automation that collects web data for you.

  • Scrape robots turn pages into Markdown, HTML or screenshots.
  • Crawl robots cover entire websites.
  • Search robots find and scrape pages for a query.
  • Extract robots can open a webpage, log in, click buttons, fill out forms, pull structured data into a spreadsheet, take screenshots and watch parts of a page for changes.

You create robots with the API or SDKs, by using an auto robot, by clicking in the recorder or by describing what you need with AI. Every robot has adjustable inputs, like the webpage URL, that you can change each time it runs.

Credits are how usage is measured on Maxun Cloud, and each plan includes a set number of credits per billing cycle.

  • Scrape: 1 credit per page, plus 2 credits per run when using Smart Queries.
  • Crawl: 1 credit per page.
  • Extract: 1 credit per 4 rows in Recorder mode, or 1 credit per 3 rows in AI mode.
  • Screenshot: 1 credit per screenshot.
  • Search: 1 credit per 5 results, or 1 credit per result with Search + Scrape.

For example:

  • Extracting 50 products from a page uses 12.5 credits in Recorder mode (50 rows ÷ 4).
  • Scraping 100 pages to Markdown uses 100 credits.
  • Monitoring 50 pages daily with a scrape robot uses about 1,500 credits per month (50 pages × 30 days).
Unused credits usually do not carry over to the next billing cycle. However, if you upgrade your plan before your current cycle ends, your unused credits are added to your new plan's credits and remain available for the duration of your upgraded plan.
No. You only pay for successful requests. If a request fails, no credits are deducted.
Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. All prices are in USD.
No, but you can if you want to. Developers can use the REST API, Node.js and Python SDKs, CLI and MCP server. Anyone else can use the no-code interface to build robots by clicking or describing what they need, then schedule and export results. Both are included in every plan.
Yes. The Premium plan includes custom credit and user limits, custom data retention, advanced stealth mode, fully managed onboarding and setup, priority support with an SLA, a dedicated account manager and custom integrations.
